Why The Hate?

Our world is filled with hate, people hate Presidents, they hate the police, they hate the government, they just hate anything that doesn’t align with their own dogma of misconstrued ideas of what’s right according to them!

But what does the word hate mean? I searched the internet to see, and this is what google AI says, “hatred or hate is a intense negative emotional response towards a certain people, things or ideas, usually related to opposition or revulsion to something. Hatred is often associated with intense feelings of anger, contempt, and disgust. Hatred is sometimes seen as the opposite of love. “

I believe hatred is always the opposite of love! I am amazed at all the hate out there on the internet by people who call themselves Christians, about the Word of Faith people, who happen to believe that God is the same today as He was in the Bible. Let me say also it’s not just the word of faith people whom they are hating, it’s anyone that is different than they are. I even read a few blogs about Billy Graham not being a Christian because he was a friend of those who were not Christians.

The blogs are calling Men of God heretics, devils in sheep clothing, etc. Men of God who have done mighty miracles in the past just as Jesus did over 2000 years ago. People like John Lake, Alexander Dowie, Kenneth Hagin, Smith Wigglesworth, etc, and even some women who dared preach about Jesus being alive today in them doing the work he started and never stopped. Women like Katherine Kulhman, Amiee McPherson, Marie Woodworth Etter, etc.

I don’t understand why they call these and others like them, devils in disguise? Why are all these people who had miracles and signs and wonders in the name of Jesus called devils? Is the devil now trying to glorify Jesus, and working with and for God? Poppycock! Not in the least!

They were called by our Lord Jesus to do the same works and even greater works than he did, (John 14:12) just as you and I are also called if we are his disciples. Mind you I said disciples, not just being a Christian, but becoming a disciple of Jesus, spirit, soul, and body. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

I always wonder if these people even take the time to read what the word of God even says? But I guess I should not be surprised because the religious community said that Jesus also had a devil (Matthew 12:24, Luke 11:15, John 10:20). The religious community is always in opposition to God, since they are satisfied with their little world of self righteousness, and recognition as being religious people by the world around them.

If Jesus came in the flesh and never sinned, or got sick, or ever did anything wrong, then he died for us, then rose again from the dead, for all those future generations who would dare to believe and become children of God (John 1:12). It does not take a rocket scientist to put 2+2 together, and see that we are redeemed, spirit, soul, and body! So then why would someone say bad things about those who are in their own family?

I agree that some of their doctrine is off center with the word of God, but this is just common with human nature. None of us are perfect in our understanding of what we think we know, and thereby what we preach is going to be off a little. This should not make you hate them or say bad things about them. It should make you study what they are saying to see if the Bible backs them up.

John the beloved, wrote that them that do good are led of God (3 John 11) and in 2 John 7 he writes “for many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an anti christ.” So we find out that those who deny that Jesus came in the flesh are not of God. Of all the word of faith preachers I have ever heard of, they all teach that Jesus is the Christ, born of a virgin, died and then rose again. God in the man Jesus, our saviour and Lord.

Why then the hate for those that preach the same gospel we all believe? In 1 John 4:2-3, we read these words, “hereby know you the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is born of God.” So then, I have just given you 3 witnesses out of the New Testament that gives you the knowledge you need to judge whether anyone is of God or not. Use it wisely and don’t allow hate to enter your mind or emotions.

If you attack someone that is born of God then you are in effect attacking God too. Not a very bright idea if you get my drift. I believe these people need to stay in the love walk, and not allow hate to cloud their minds. We just need to take those things we don’t agree with and put them up on a shelf until we understand more by studying the word of God.

Use the Bible as your magnifier and judge what anyone says by it, you iust may be surprised as to what you learn. Never take someone’s word over the Bible! Not your preacher, your church denomination, or your friends! You are the one responsible for what you allow in your mind and actions. I hope this letter will help you to stay in the secret place of love. Love covers a multitude of sins, (1 Peter 4:8) so stay in the love walk and be very mindful of what you allow in your eye gate, so your mind does not get distracted by false teachings.

I will close for now and I hope to write my next letter on Gods secret place. Stay in love, and give it away at every opportunity that comes your way. Remember you will make it, just don’t give up. See you next time as we study Gods word together.

  1. I have never seen so much hate in the world today 😦 Even in family members which I don’t understand has hatred towards one another over some of the silliest things. I know God knows and He is in control I pray that they will forgive and come back into the family. It breaks this mama’s heart knowing how completely separated they are. I love them both, but my oldest daughter needs God and she refusing to even let him in… She has a cold heart since her daddy passed away when she was 13 and is still mad about it. My other daughter excepts it and loved her daddy. She’s in church now and I know God is working in her life.

Thank you for your time and sharing what God lays on your heart
