Love Song To Ingrid

Your name is Ingrid Bachmann and I’m in love with you, you are the fairest little fraulein that ever I knew.

Your brown eyes they just sparkle and your chin is dimpled too, maybe this is why I fell in love with you.

You make my day complete just by being you, I will never leave your side as long as life ensues.

The years have just flown by as time keeps marching on, but my love will never falter it only deepens with each dawn.

Our life on earth’s about over as we look towards the Son, everyone should remember, that our love has just begun.

I wrote this love song to Ingrid while I was visiting her on Sunday listening to Wings Of Hope, a Celtic CD, and while we listened to the melodies track 3 started. It was while we listened that this song came out of my heart. The first and second line came quickly, and I just kept looking into her eyes and keep repeating, the words kept forming as I continued on. She just lay there watching me as I struggled on. My heart was trying to tell her how much she meant to me as I sung each line my tears kept falling and the mask had to be removed as I wiped my eyes and cleared my sinus’s as I kept on writing my little love song to this precious woman whom I love so dearly.

I hope you enjoyed this song that I wrote for Ingrid and have shared it with you, my family. I also hope each one of you gets to experience this kind of love for the person you have chosen to live with for the rest of your life, through the good time’s and the not so good days too. Love is a gift given to us from our Father God through His Son Jesus Christ so long ago. Jesus spoke these words Love God, Love each other and you will fulfill all the law of God. Love is more than a feeling and it sometimes takes everything within you to allow it to change you.

Please take the time daily to tell this person you are sharing life with how much they mean to you. Not just by words alone, your actions mean a lot also. Random acts of kindness express your love just as clearly to the one you have chosen to spend your life with. Buy them a simple gift, open the car door, take time to share their life as they express in words what they want to share with you. Time does pass so quickly and tomorrow is here before you know it. All we really have that is worth sharing is love and the moment we are in. Spend it wisely and make their life worth living.

I will close this letter before I can not see the keyboard any more. I love each of you and I do hope love will be your motivation every day as you continue your race to the Son. Pray for us as we continue our own race and my dearest hope is that Ingrid will rise from her bed of affliction and walk and talk once more as she also continues her own race of life towards the Son of God.
