About

The Kilted Priest

I have chosen the Kilted Priest title because my family came from Scotland and Ireland back in the 1700’s to America. I am proud of my heritage and I enjoy wearing the kilt and bringing honor to those brave people from so long ago. There have been several “men of the cloth” in my lineage and I hope to be a good representative that will bring my family, and my Father God, glory and honor. I have a wonderful wife of 28 years. We are a blended family of four children, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren (soon to be three, as soon as he arrives). Also, two daughter-in-laws and one grand daughter-in-law. All of whom I love dearly.

I started this blogging journey to try and reach the hurt, confused, and disillusioned children of God. Those who are on the verge of quitting the race and just sitting down. I want to encourage my bretheren to study the word of God for themselves and not to be dependent upon someone else to teach them. After all, we are all priests unto God and we are only responsible to do what we have been given to do as our assignment.

This blog journal is about my life and the lessons that I have learned along the way. Life is hard, and we all need someone to share our hopes and dreams with, as well as our problems and concerns. I want to help my family to become the winners that God wants them to be. Overcomers, by the word of their testimony and the blood of the Lamb.

You are God’s child and He loves you very much. This is the message of hope that this “priest” wants to share with all of those who read my words. Please feel free to like my posts and subscribe also. You are always encouraged to write and share your stories with me.
